Meet Braxton

Braxton White 4.jpg

Braxton grew up in rural Pennsylvania with his great-grandparents.  "Grampa" was a minister and a World War II veteran who taught him the importance of service to the country and being present in your community.

While he was still in high school, Braxton met his wife Stephanie at church camp.  It was love at first sight and they have been happily married for 12 years.  Their son, Will, recently started the 3rd grade.

At the peak of the Iraq war, Braxton followed in his Great-Grandfather's footsteps and enlisted in the PA Army National guard.  He graduated from his entry training with honors and went on to serve for six years until he was honorably discharged in 2014.

Braxton has a passion for the trades and has spent over 5 years as a drafting instructor at Triangle Tech.  Along with attending various charitable events in the community, the Whites have been involved in fundraising and event efforts with the Friends of the Clarion Free Library.  Braxton also regularly helps with fundraising efforts at the Tri-County Animal Shelter.

He has served on the Clarion Area School Board since 2017 where he has been an advocate for children, teachers, and special education programs. He also serves on the operating board for the Clarion County Career Center.
